Madhepura: Two youths in their early 20s died after their bike collided with an unidentified vehicle coming from the opposite direction near Fardapari bridge under Fulaut police station area in Madhepura district on Friday evening.According to police, the victims were identified as Rahul Kumar, son of Kishor Mandal, and Krishna Kumar, son of Chandeshwari Mandal, both residents of Morsanda village under the same police station. They were returning to their village from Chausa market when the accident occurred.
The impact was so severe that both riders were flung off the bike and sustained multiple injuries. Passersby rushed to help and found one of them dead on the spot. The other was taken to a hospital but he too died on the way.Fulaut SHO Varun Kumar Verma reached the spot and sent the bodies for postmortem. “Police are investigating the matter to identify the vehicle involved in the accident,” he said.
