Two wild animals spotted

Two wild animals, suspected to be leopards, were spotted entering Khaksis village in Jalaun district, triggering panic among residents. The animals were captured on CCTV cameras coming out of a house on Tuesday night. On being informed, divisional forest officer Pradeep Kumar Yadav sent a team of three regional forest rangers to the spot. The regional forest rangers were directed to conduct intensive search operations in the village and surrounding areas.The forest department appealed to the villagers to immediately inform the forest personnel about any suspicious activity. tnn
