Noida: A woman was killed after a truck rammed into her husband’s scooter near Dadri bridge in Sector 44 on Sunday. The couple fell off the scooter and the woman suffered fatal injuries to her head.The woman’s husband, Shivkumar, filed a complaint against the truck driver, who fled the spot. According to the complaint filed at Sector 39 police station, he and his wife, Manju, were riding on their Honda Activa from Faridabad to their home in Noida Phase 2. Around 9.15am, they had pulled up near the Dadri bridge. A truck, which was being driven rashly, rammed into the scooter from behind. A case has been registered against the unknown truck driver under BNS sections 281 (rash driving or riding in a public way) and 106(1) (causing death by negligence).
