Trainer hired for dog sexually assualts woman in Ghaziabad

Ghaziabad: A 25-year-old dog trainer was arrested for allegedly raping a woman in Kaushambi on Wednesday.The complaint filed by the woman’s mother on Jan 26 said the man had been hired about a year ago to train their dog. She lived alone with her two daughters and he visited their house thrice a week. He developed a physical relationship with her daughter and recorded objectionable videos and photos of the woman and started blackmailing her. “The trainer came to our house for the first time in Nov 2024. He used to come thrice a week between 6 and 7pm,” the mother wrote in the complaint. She alleged that in Feb last year, in the absence of other family members, the trainer forced himself onto her daughter and sexually assaulted her. “He also took some objectionable photos of her. He threatened my daughter that if she told anyone, he would make these photos viral,” she said.She claimed that even after they moved houses in Dec 2025, the trainer kept on threatening her daughter. There were certain instances where he had forced her to meet in a hotel room. When she refused, he assaulted her. ” He used to call my daughter from different numbers and tell her that if she informed the police, he would commit suicide and blame his death on us,” she said.A senior police officer said that the mother met the city’s police commissioner J Ravindra Goud on Jan 23, and later an FIR was registered at Kaushambi police station on Jan 26. ACP Indirapuram Abhishek Srivastava said an FIR has been registered in the case against the accused under sections 64(1) (rape), 115(2) (voluntarily causing hurt), and 351(2) (criminal intimidation) of BNSat Kaushambi police station.The trainer told police he had been employed at the woman’s place for three months. During this time, both started a conversation and exchanged numbers. He claimedthey were in a relationship and he had made videos of the woman during this time. However, after their relationship fell apart, the phone on which he took photos of the complainant’s daughter broke and was no longer with him.
