Vadodara: A trailer travelling on National Highway 48 veered off the road and rammed into the gate of a private industrial estate on Thursday, leaving one person injured. The incident occurred near the Sankarda bridge.Police said the trailer, carrying iron angles, was en route from Kheda to Tamil Nadu when the driver lost control. The vehicle crashed into the estate’s main gate and a nearby shop.The injured, identified as Amit Kumar Ram, was admitted to hospital for treatment.Residents said NH-48 has witnessed several accidents in recent months due to wrong-side driving and speeding.
