KUALA LUMPUR: Here is a recap of the announcements that made headlines in Corporate Malaysia.

Ekovest Bhd has extended by three months a 2023 agreement to acquire four land parcels along the Johor Bahru–Singapore RTS Link for RM310mn, with the deadline pushed from Jan 28 to April 27, 2026, to allow further review and negotiations.

Unique Fire Holdings Bhd is venturing into renewable energy via a proposed 95MW solar power plant in Perak, subject to shareholder approval, which will be undertaken through Unique HEB Sdn Bhd, a 60:40 JV with HSS Engineers Bhd.

MLABS Systems Bhd said it will miss the Jan 31 deadline to issue its Annual Report 2025, citing the need for additional time to finalise its audit.

Advancecon Holdings Bhd has secured an RM82.1mn contract to carry out earthworks and main drainage works for Phase 1 (Package 1) of the Southern Catalyst Innovation District in Sedenak, Johor, within the Johor–Singapore Special Economic Zone.

Omesti Bhd has secured a contract worth up to RM43.1mn to provide WiFi network facility services at education institutions under Majlis Amanah Rakyat.

Greentronics Technology Bhd said its fleet management subsidiary, Mpire Mobility Sdn Bhd, has entered into a strategic partnership with Thai Paiboon Insurance Public Company Limited to tap rising Malaysia–Thailand cross-border travel.

Taghill Holdings Bhd said a winding-up petition has been filed against its subsidiary, SIAB (M) Sdn Bhd, over an alleged RM81,632.18 outstanding sum for scaffolding services.

Teamstar Bhd aims to raise RM53.04mn via its ACE Market IPO priced at 26 sen per share, ahead of its Feb 25 listing.

Country View Bhd more than doubled its 4QFY25 dividend payout, declaring a 13 sen single-tier dividend as net profit surged 79.4% YoY to RM18.8mn on stronger revenue.

Ecofirst Consolidated Bhd’s net profit fell 28.5% YoY to RM2.4mn in the 2QFY26 due to lower contributions across its businesses.

Harn Len Corp Bhd’s 2QFY26 net profit more than doubled to RM15.0mn on the back of firmer palm product prices.
