Dhubri: A tout who allegedly demanded Rs 1 lakh for registering an FIR in a hit-and-run case in the name of officer-in-charge of Dhubri Sadar PS landed in jail on Sunday, reports Bijoy Sharma. When this came to the knowledge of Dhubri OC, Pritom Das, he lodged an FIR against the accused, Tanbir, and arrested him.“This incident will help people from falling prey to these sorts of touts,” Das said.
