New Delhi: Two days after a property dealer was shot dead in northeast Delhi’s Shastri Park, police arrested 3 men in connection with the case. The accused were identified as Rehman (23), Adil (23) and Mohammad Ayan (19). The shooting was reported on Jan 24. The victim, Sameer, stepped out for a walk and was shot dead near his residence. On Wednesday, the suspects were intercepted near Ajmal Khan Park in Rohini. A brief exchange of fire ensued, during which all 3 accused sustained bullet injuries to their legs, police said.
Investigators linked the killing to rivalry between Lawrence Bishnoi and Hashim Baba gangs. The feud intensified following the murder of Wasim in on Dec 31 last year.TNN
