Hyderabad: Senior Telangana Congress leaders led by chief minister A Revanth Reddy met the party’s national leadership in Delhi on Thursday for an extensive review of governance, political strategy and the state’s long-term development roadmap.The delegation held detailed discussions with AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge and leader of opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, with Telangana Rising-2047 vision emerging as the central theme of the meeting.

During the interaction, the CM presented a comprehensive account of the govt’s priorities, key promises, policy decisions, development initiatives, outreach programmes and reform measures undertaken since assuming office. He emphasised the administration’s commitment to social justice and inclusive growth, stating that governance efforts were aimed at ensuring benefits reach all sections of society. Particular focus was placed on programmes for the empowerment of women, farmers and youth, which the govt considers central to long-term economic and social stability.Confidence in govtRevanth also highlighted the broad public support received by the Congress govt across regions, districts and both urban and rural areas, describing it as a reflection of confidence in the govt’s policies and welfare initiatives. The national leadership noted that such feedback would help shape future policy direction and strengthen the state govt’s resolve to pursue balanced and equitable development. The meeting, held at Kharge’s residence, was attended by TPCC president B Mahesh Kumar Goud, deputy chief minister Bhatti Vikramarka, AICC Telangana in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan and several ministers. Kharge congratulated CM and ministers on the party’s performance and said the review meeting helped shape party’s future action plan.
