Telangana BJP chief claims party gains, alleges collusion between MIM, Cong & BRS

Hyderabad: Telangana BJP president N Ramchander Rao, on Monday, highlighted that the number of votes and seats for the party increased compared to previous elections. Speaking to reporters, he said the BJP emerged as the single largest party in over 15 municipalities and demonstrated its strength in areas such as Khammam, Warangal, Kothagudem, and Parakala. He noted that the BJP’s voter base had grown in many regions, while votes for the BRS party had decreased by 14% compared to the previous elections, claiming that BRS was now confined to just 13 municipalities. Rao pointed out that even the ruling party did not secure a majority of seats, and, for the first time in history, the BJP captured the mayoral position in Karimnagar.

Addressing the situation in Bhainsa, Rao mentioned that during the previous Congress administration, many cases had been filed against BJP workers and members of Hindu religious organisations, and, as an advocate, he had assisted many in obtaining bail. He alleged that both the BRS and Congress had previously collaborated to prevent the BJP from entering Bhainsa, asserting that the MIM party had committed numerous excesses in the town.Regarding Nizamabad, Rao announced that the BJP won in 28 locations, making it the single largest party there. He added that, although the MIM party’s vote share had decreased, its influence in the state was still growing. Rao also commented on an alarming increase in minority votes in one ward in Nirmal, raising suspicions and stating that a complaint had been filed. He questioned how minority votes could increase from 20% to 57%, alleging that conspiracies were being orchestrated to impede the BJP’s progress. Furthermore, he claimed that the MIM, Congress, BRS, and Communist parties were colluding to block the BJP from winning mayoral and chairperson positions, and called for an explanation regarding the relationship between these three parties.
