Kanpur: Neel Yadav, 15, son of Jai Prakash Yadav, a general manager at the Advance Weapon Equipment Factory, went missing on Wednesday after he left home in the evening saying he was going for a walk and did not return.Police registered a missing complaint and formed several teams to search for the boy. Jai Prakash said that he searched extensively among relatives, friends and nearby areas on his own, but could not find any trace of Neel. Fearing something untoward, the family immediately informed the local police station about the matter.
Police are scanning CCTV camera footage installed at Armapur State and surrounding roads to find out which direction Neel was last seen heading. Along with this, the teenager’s mobile phone was put under surveillance, and his call details and location are also being examined. Armapur police station in-charge said that the search is underway.
