Assam Dee Recruitment 2025: The dream of becoming a government teacher is going to be fulfilled. The Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE) of Assam has recruited 4500 teachers in lower primary and upper primary schools. For this, the online application can be made from March 3 by visiting the website of the Directorate Dee.assam.gov.in. The first application was to be held from 15 February to 31 March. But the Directorate has changed the schedule. Out of this, 299 vacancies are of assistant teachers in lower primary. The remaining 1600 vacancy is of science and Hindi teachers in upper primary. The Directorate has said that separate merit list will be released for each district and category.
Qualification for teacher posts
Candidates should pass Assam TET or CTET. (It depends on that they are applying for lower primary or upper primary schools) One of the Language or Assam TET (Language-1 or Language-2) should match through the teaching medium of that school, For which they are applying. TET is required to have 85 percent marks.
-It should be 12th pass with less 50 percent marks. Together, a two -year DLED or its equivalent course should be done. For lower primary, DLED should also have 50 per cent marks.
To become a teacher in upper primary, two years of DLED or B.Ed should be done with graduation. It is necessary to pass CTET or Assam TET.
Age limit for teacher recruitment
Candidates should be at least 18 years and maximum 40 years. Candidates coming in the reserved category will be given exemption in the maximum age limit as per the rule.
How will be selected for the post of teacher
In Assam, the selection of teachers posts will be on the basis of merit. Apart from this, there will be no written examination and interview.
