Agra Taj Mahal Free . All monuments including Taj Mahal are free on Yoga Day. International Yoga Day will be celebrated on 21 June. The Archaeological Survey of India has decided to keep entry into all monuments including Taj Mahal on Yoga Day. Indian and foreign tourists will be given free entry into monuments. Additional ticket of Rs 200 will be applicable on the main mausoleum in the Taj Mahal.

Taj Mahal remains free on Urs for three days
The Taj Mahal is free for three days on the occasion of Urs of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. This exemption is given to tourists every year. The Taj Mahal opens from sunrise to sunset. The Taj Mahal’s simple ticket is Rs 50, which is valid for three hours. This is the only time of the year during Urs when tourists are allowed to enter the basement to see the real graves of Shah Jahan and his wife Mumtaz. There is a free entry on Women’s Day at Taj Mahal. In addition to the three days of Urs, the entry of Taj Mahal is also free on World Tourism Day every year. Let us tell you that World Tourism Day is celebrated every year on 27 September.
