Sultanpur (Uttar Pradesh). A heartbreaking incident has come to light in Kenaura village of the district, where a drunken son beaten his own father with a brick. The 18 -year -old sister who arrived to save was also badly injured by the accused. The police have arrested the accused son.
The incident is on Sunday night. Hridaylal (55), a resident of Kenora village, was alone in the house, while his wife Vimala went out of work. Meanwhile, his only son Shravan (30) came home drunk and attacked his father with a brick. Shravan also attacked and seriously injured the younger daughter Amisha (18), who came to intervene after hearing Hridaylal’s screams.
The villagers who came to hear the noise called the ambulance and sent them both to the Government Medical College, where the doctors declared Hridaylal dead. Amisha is undergoing treatment and her condition is said to be critical.
On the tahrir of the deceased’s wife Vimala, the police have registered a case against the accused son under the sections of murder and murderous attack. According to the villagers, Shravan used to fight in the house drunk earlier and raised his hand on his mother a few days ago.
Hridaylal had five children and a son. Saroja (35), Manoja (32) and Manisha (24) are married among the daughters. Amisha and Shravan lived at home. There is an atmosphere of mourning and tension in the village after the incident.
