The SSE Airtricity Premier Division match between St Patrick’s Athletic and Galway, which was due to take place on Friday evening, has been postponed due to an unplayable surface at Richmond Park. Following heavy rainfall, a pitch inspection was held at the Inchicore venue on Friday morning.

The clash Shelbourne and Shamrock Rovers, the two most recent League of Ireland champions, has also been called off due to Tolka Park being unplayable.

After a 9:30am pitch inspection at Belfield, the opening night First Division game between UCD and Kerry will go ahead. That kicks off at 7:45pm.

There will be a 1pm pitch inspection at Sullivan & Lambe Park to determine if the Premier Division match between Drogheda and Waterford can be played.
