Lucknow: A special statewide drive was conducted on Saturday to include all eligible citizens in the voter lists as part of the special intensive revision 2026.UP CEO Navdeep Rinwa said the campaign was held at every polling station, with a focus on registering eligible citizens, especially women and first-time voters, through form-6 along with declaration forms.To ensure transparency and effective implementation, senior officials — including the CEO, officers from the CEO office, divisional commissioners, district election officers, deputy district election officers, electoral registration officers and assistant electoral registration officers — visited polling stations across districts to monitor the process. During inspections, officials reviewed arrangements at the polling stations and assessed the work of booth level officers (BLOs). They ensured BLOs were present on time, providing draft electoral rolls to voters and clearly explaining deletions due to death, migration, duplication or other reasons. Adequate availability of forms 6, 7 and 8 was also checked. All eligible visitors were assisted in filling form-6 with required declarations.Officials said the objective of the special revision is to keep voter lists accurate, updated and error-free so that no eligible voter remains excluded. Citizens have been urged to check their names in the electoral roll and submit claims or objections through forms 6, 7 or 8 online at voters.eci.gov.in, via the ECINET mobile app, or offline through their BLOs, to further strengthen the reliability of the voter lists.
