Hyderabad: NUkler Products, a joint venture between Slovakia’s IQ Capital and Hyderabad-based Green House Enviro, has evinced interest in setting up a 300 MW small modular reactor (SMR)-based clean energy project in Telangana, with an investment of Euro 600 million (approx Rs 6,000 crore).The company also submitted an expression of interest (EOI) to the Telangana govt during a meeting of top honchos of IQ Capital and Green House Enviro with chief minister A Revanth Reddy and the ‘Telangana Rising’ delegation at the World Economic Forum in Davos on Wednesday.
The CM said Telangana is keen to encourage sustainable, clean, and advanced energy infrastructure projects, as sustainability is the central pillar of Telangana’s pursuit of a Net-Zero development target by 2047.IQ Capital Group chairman Dr Jan Babic, IQ Capital Group CEO & director Anil Kumar Bavissetty, and Green House Enviro CEO and director Molugu Sripal Reddy, along with Matus Gemes, the Honorary Consul of the Slovak Republic to the Principality of Liechtenstein, were among those who met the ‘Telangana Rising’ team on Day 2 of the global summit.Industries and IT minister D Sridhar Babu and revenue minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy also participated in the meeting.
