Several hurt in series of mishaps in Dahod

Vadodara: A series of road accidents were reported across Dahod district on Tuesday night, leaving several people injured, though no fatalities were reported by Wednesday evening.A bus travelling from Surat to Thandla in Madhya Pradesh overturned near Dhamarda after the driver lost control, injuring around 10 passengers who were rushed to a hospital in Dahod.In a separate incident near Gamla village of Dahod taluka, a car fell into the Patadungri canal. Five people, including four children, were rescued and the vehicle was later pulled out using a crane.A truck carrying empty plastic crates from Rajasthan to MP collided with a highway divider near Patiazol village in Garbada taluka, reportedly after the driver lost control.Near Asaydi village in Devgadh Baria taluka, a car caught fire on the highway. The occupants escaped safely, and the Devgadh Baria fire brigade brought the blaze under control.
