Sources said the outage was triggered by a theft inside the server room, where cables connected to the UPS battery system were reportedly stolen. An unidentified thief is seen in CCTV footage removing converter wires from nearly 35-40 UPS batteries around 8pm Wednesday.Principal medical officer Dr RS Chauhan said, “A formal complaint has been lodged with the police. Technical staff worked to restore the server at the earliest to minimise inconvenience, and the system should restart from tomorrow.” tnn
