On the occasion of International Child Labor Prohibition Day, Child Labor Prohibition Week is being organized in the district from June 12 to 17. Today, a seminar was held at Visakha Industries, Bachhrawan Rae Bareli under the chairmanship of Milindra Dwivedi, Member Child Welfare Committee Rae Bareli.
All visitors were welcomed by Labor Enforcement Officer Rae Bareli Rakesh Kumar Pal at the seminar.
On this occasion, it was informed by the Labor Enforcement Officer that child labor is a curse for society which is necessary to be removed from Rae Bareli and according to the intention of the government, it is necessary to free the district Rae Bareli including the state by the year 2027, for which serious efforts are being made. Work manager of Visakha Industries Anil Mishra said that the future of children is India’s future. In the next 20 years, child labor is required to be abolished for the leading role of India, and for this, his employees were called to make the people around them aware.
In his address by Assistant Labor Commissioner RL Swarnakar, everyone was called out that child labor is a social problem which can be eradicated only through awareness. He informed that the Labor Department has been making efforts to bring awareness in this regard and is also taking pregnancy and other legal action against the Child and Juvenile Labor (Prohibition and Regulation) Act 1986 against the hugging of child labor. He called upon everyone to motivate them not to get child labor working, not possible child labor.
The representative of the District Legal Authority was told that the right to education Act 6 to 14 years of education has been provided by the Government of India, the children of this age group can get education and stay away from child labor. Anti Human Trafficking was requested by Ms. Sangeeta Mishra to make Rae Bareli free.
Milindra Dwivedi, who is presiding over the seminar, said that in the last few years, child labor in Rae Bareli has reduced considerably for which the efforts of the labor department are commendable. Milindra Dwivedi said that children have the right to play education and freedom, which the government is constantly making efforts to provide children. In order to prevent or eliminate child labor practice in Rae Bareli by Dwivedi, all the common people were made aware in this regard and all related departments were emphasized on making efforts with mutual cooperation. On this occasion, a signature campaign for eradication of child labor was also conducted, in which efforts were made by the officers, visitors and general public, taking a pledge to eradicate the child labor system.
At the conclusion of the seminar, everyone was thanked by the manager of Visakha Industries. The seminar was conducted by SS Pandey. The seminar was organized by the labor department courtesy in which RL Swarnakar, Assistant Labor Commissioner Rae Bareli, Man Singh Kushwaha, Labor Enforcement Officer Rae Bareli. Inspector of Anti Human Trafficking Unit, Ms. Sangeeta Mishra Senior Reserve, and other police people of the unit were present. District Legal Services Authority officials, work manager of Visakha Industries, representative of non-governmental organization and all employees of Visakha Industries were present in the seminar.
