Jaipur: The Jaipur Bench and the Jodhpur-based principal Bench of Rajasthan high court received bomb threats Tuesday morning, prompting swift evacuation of both premises. Police said a threatening email was sent, following a pattern similar to previous threats. The administration alerted police officials and decided to begin hearings after a security sweep as a precaution. Bomb disposal squads, dog squads and senior officers reached the high court premises in both Jaipur and Jodhpur and conducted a thorough search of the main buildings. Judicial staff, advocates and litigants were evacuated, while fire brigade and ambulance services were kept on standby. Police teams combed every corner of the premises but found no suspicious object. After the search operation concluded, court proceedings resumed. Jodhpur police commissioner Om Prakash told TOI that no suspicious object was found during the search. DCP (Jaipur South) Rajarshi Raj Varma also said that no suspicious object was found in the Jaipur Bench of the High Court during the search operation. Police said the investigation into the latest email is under way.
