Sasikala vows to re establish ‘Amma govt’ in TN

Chennai: Expelled AIADMK leader V K Sasikala on Tuesday said she would adopt a new political strategy to take on both “enemies and betrayers” in the upcoming assembly election. Sasikala said she would work hard to establish the “people’s govt on the path laid down by AIADMK founder M G Ramachandran and his successor J Jayalalithaa.“I will work to my full potential and use my 39 years of political experience to remove the DMK govt,” Saskala said after paying floral tributes to former chief minister C N Annadurai on his 57th death anniversary in Chennai.A pledge was read out by Sasikala supporters at the memorial that she would defeat `enemies and betrayers’ in the election and `form a govt.’ When asked about her pledge to form a govt, Sasikala said she will leave that to the people’s judgement. “They will understand it better,” she said. She, however, declined to spell out the details of her strategy or identify whom she meant by enemies and betrayers.On AMMK leader T T V Dhinakaran returning to the NDA alliance and joining hands with AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami for the upcoming assembly polls, Sasikala said `everyone had their own plan and strategy.’
