Varanasi: On the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami, worship of Maa Saraswati, the presiding deity of knowledge and music, was performed with proper rituals on the premises of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple on Friday. The temple trust authorities performed worship with Vedic chanting. Besides, the Tilak festival of Lord Shri Vishweshwar was also celebrated at Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple on the occasion. The temple priests performed worship of Baba Vishweshwar’s Panchbadan idol with proper rituals.
