Sambhal News: Samajwadi Party MP Ziaurrahman Burke has reacted strongly to the decision on the status report filed in the High Court regarding the dyeing of Sambhal’s royal Jama Masjid. He has questioned the working style of Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). He has said that everyone knows well that ASI does work on whom?
Did MP Ziaurrahman Bark say?
SP MP Ziaurrahman Burke said that ‘dyeing and pain in the mosque is not a big deal. Repair and decoration of religious places is part of the routine process. On the occasion of Ramadan, dyeing and painting was being done in the mosque, but now it has been made an issue of controversy.
He further said that “We respect the law and judiciary. If necessary, we will appeal against the High Court’s decision and also go to the Supreme Court. However, if a court representative was involved in the committee constituted by the High Court, the report would have been balanced and fair.”
Objection raised to the claim of mosque on government land
The UP government has said in the affidavit given in the High Court that Sambhal’s Jama Masjid remains on government land. Expressing strong objections to this, Burke said, “This is a completely baseless and misleading claim. The land purchased for the mosque in Islam is valid. The government has no concrete evidence on this issue. Such statements are being misled only by the public.”
Why did the matter get up?
The controversy over the dyeing of Sambhal’s historic Jama Masjid arose when ASI filed a status report in the High Court regarding it. After this, the High Court ordered the matter, on which MP Burke expressed disagreement and did not call it justified. Now it has to be seen whether the Samajwadi Party will take legal action against this decision or any other way will be adopted.
