KUALA LUMPUR: Samaiden Group Bhd is well-positioned for further growth in the renewable energy sector, underpinned by a RM600.5mil order book as at Dec 31, 2025 and a healthy project pipeline.

“Backed by a healthy pipeline across updated corporate renewable energy supply scheme (CRESS), LSS5+, corporate green power program and rooftop solar projects, Samaiden remains well-positioned to capture further growth in the renewable energy sector,” the renewable energy (RE) specialist said in a statement.

In the second quarter ended Dec 31, 2025 (2Q26), Samaiden’s net profit surged 90% to RM9.03mil, or 1.92 sen per share, bringing its first-half earnings up 88.1% to RM15.2mil, or 3.24 sen.

Quarterly revenue rose 28.4% to RM102.8mil, lifting first-half revenue 47.5% higher to RM190.9mil.

“This quarter’s improvement reflects stronger on-site execution and steady progress across our key projects. Higher construction activities supported increased revenue recognition during the quarter, while contributions from projects with healthier margin profiles lifted overall profitability,” group managing director Datuk Ir. Chow Pui Hee said.

She noted that despite the recent increase in solar panel prices, the impact on the company has remained minimal, supported by early procurement planning, strategic sourcing and disciplined cost management, allowing projects to remain on track.

“We remain focused on maintaining operational discipline while executing our growing pipeline of RE projects.”
