Rs 807 crore spent on development in Ladwa in 11 yrs: CM Saini

Ladwa (Kurukshetra): Haryana chief minister Nayab Singh Saini said on Wednesday that the state govt has carried out unprecedented development works in the Ladwa constituency in Kurukshetra district across infrastructure, social harmony, irrigation, health, animal husbandry, sports, environmental protection and urban amenities.Addressing a public gathering in Khairi village, CM Saini said that Rs 807 crore was spent on development works in Ladwa over 11 years, compared to only Rs 310 crore during the 10-year rule of the Congress govt. “Our goal is to make the Ladwa constituency a leader in development. The sole objective of the govt is the overall development of this region and the upliftment of every citizen living here,” he said. During the event, CM Saini announced Rs 21 lakh for development works in Khairi village, Rs 70 lakh for laying drinking water pipelines, and the construction of the village peripheral road. He assured that other demands submitted by the sarpanch would be forwarded to departments for early resolution. CM Saini said that the govt fulfilled 60 out of 217 promises made in its assembly election manifesto within just one year, while work on the remaining 157 promises is progressing steadily.
