Gandhinagar: A sum of Rs 104.651 crore was returned to account holders in Gujarat between Oct and Dec 2025 under the nationwide ‘Your Money, Your Right’ campaign of the Union govt. An official statement said that, during this period, a total of 26,874 claims were submitted in the state. After verification, the respective banks returned the amounts to the account holders. Unclaimed deposits, insurance returns, dividends, mutual fund balances, and pensions were included in the amount returned to account holders.The statement said that in Gujarat, approximately Rs 2,836.80 crore in public sector banks and Rs 235 crore in insurance companies remained unclaimed. By Dec 2025, Rs 104.61 crore was returned through this campaign based on the claims made.
