Kanpur: Opener Rohit Gupta’s fine century (116) helped National Youth sail into the final of the Dhaneshwari Devi Memorial Cricket Tournament, as they beat Sir Padampat Singhania Sports Academy by 47 runs at Chandra Cricket Ground on Friday. National Youth, after being invited to bat, scored 219 for 9 in 32 overs. Besides Rohit, Arman Tiwari chipped in with 54 runs. Ayushman Singh claimed three scalps. In reply, Sir Padampat Singhania Sports Academy could muster 172 for the loss of eight wickets in their allotted overs. Vansh Nigam (46), Pranjul Singh (38) and Ayushman Singh (27) were the main scorers. Sarvesh Kumar and Dhanesh picked three and two wickets respectively.
