Hyderabad: BRS deputy floor leader and Siddipet MLA T Harish Rao on Sunday alleged that chief minister A Revanth Reddy sided with those opposing statehood and aimed guns at activists fighting for a separate state.Taking to his social media platform after chief minister Revanth Reddy gave a call to TDP and YSR fans to defeat BRS, he said, “While enjoying the position of CM, he maintains secret ties with BJP at the Centre, betraying Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, making him a Congress traitor. Acting like a fence-eating crop, he serves the interests of neighbouring states through projects like Banakacharla, betraying Telangana’s interests.““While Congress opposes the BJP govt nationwide, Revanth supports it. CM openly expresses admiration for TDP. People should notice the motives behind these actions. Revanth’s conduct benefits BJP and TDP coalition, enemies of Congress,” Rao said.Rao claimed that Revanth Reddy was enjoying the CM position given by Sonia Gandhi. He betrays Congress principles, aligning with BJP and Chandrababu Naidu, showcasing the peak of his betrayal mindset.Rao pointed out that the CM’s call to demolish flag posts was a direct attack on law and order, encouraging crime. “Where is the police responsibility to maintain peace and order? When the person in the CM position, who also oversees the home department, openly incites crime and hatred, why is the DGP silent?” he asked. He further claimed that, unable to face it politically, the “CM’s call for physical attacks and property destruction is a testament to Revanth’s downfall. If such actions attempt to create chaos in Telangana, the people will teach a fitting lesson”. “If BRS flag posts are demolished, we will respond in a way that leaves Revanth stunned, teaching a lesson through the people’s mandate,” he added.
