Transformers installed in the open will no longer be seen in the crowded areas of the city. Instead, the electricity corporation will make compact sub station. 151 compact sub stations are to be built under the Smart City Scheme in different areas of the city, for which Rs 60.16 crore will be spent.
This will also get rid of transformer fault on the day. The Electricity Corporation has made a proposal and sent it to the headquarters. However, permission is yet to be obtained. In fact, transformers have been installed along the road to supply electricity in many congested areas of the city.
These transformers are plinted on the ground or put on double pillars, which surround a lot of places in the paths. At the same time, the hanging of the stars is such that anyone will be afraid to see. People are also afraid to get out of them. Many times incidents like short-circuit and fire are also seen in them.
On the other hand, it also disrupts the power supply in the area for a long time. In such a situation, all these problems are being claimed from compact sub station. Explain that due to the construction of the compact sub station, there will be no transformer in the open. Everything will be inside the box. Will take less space. Incidents of fire will be curbed.
