Raj leads JEE Main 2026 Session-1 with three perfect 100 scorers; 12 nationwide | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Rajasthan produced three of the 12 students nationwide who scored a perfect 100 in the JEE Main 2026 Session-1 results released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on Monday, the highest from any state.The state toppers are Kabeer Chhillar, Chiranjib Kar and Arnav Gautam. All three prepared at Allen Institute, Kota. Jaipur boys Shresth Jasoria and Daksh Sehra secured an NTA score of 99.99 and became the national topper for the General EWS and the ST category, respectively. Shubham Kumar, from Bihar also prepared for the exam in Kota and secured NTA Score 100.After moving to Kota from Gurgaon in 2024 after Class 10, Chhillar began preparing for JEE, choosing the city for guidance and national-level competition. “Hard work in the right direction is crucial. I strengthened my preparation through a regular study schedule, consistent revision, and mock tests. After coming to Kota, instead of memorising, I focused more on understanding the concepts in depth,” said Chhillar. He said he studied each topic by dividing it into small parts, prepared short notes, and did regular revision.Kar moved to Kota from Jajpur in Odisha in 2024 to prepare for the exam. “After Class 10, I came to Kota. My love for physics made the preparation journey easy, and the environment here helped a lot. My younger brother also came to Kota with me and studies here, which helped me through the preparation,” said Kar.Gautam, from Kota, said the result would help him plan his next steps. “Though I prepared well, this result was unexpected. Now I will be able to focus better on my board exams and the second attempt for JEE Main, as practice sharpens my skills further,” said Gautam.The JEE Main Session-1 examination for BE-.BTech was conducted between Jan 21-28 in different shifts. This year, over 13.55 lakh students registered for the exam and over 13.04 lakh students sat in the exam.
