Patna: With 20 pairs of Holi special trains already announced by the railways, it has been further decided to put nine more special trains into operations on different routes to cope with the festive rush.According to ECR’s chief public relations officer (CPRO) Saraswati Chandra, Pune – Danapur special will be into operations from Feb 23 to March 8.
“Similarly another special train running between Pune and Danapur will run from Feb 21 to March 10. On its return, it will leave Danapur daily at 5 am and reach Pune next day at 6.15 pm,” he said adding Lokmanya Tilak Mumbai – Danapur special will be put into operations from Feb 21 to March 9 leaving Lokmanya Tilak Mumbai daily at 10.30 am and reach Danapur around 6.45 pm while on its return it will leave Danapur daily at 9.30 pm and reach Lokmanya Tilak Mumbai third day around 7.45 am.Lokmanya Tilak Mumbai – Samastipur special will run from Feb 24 to March 5 leaving Mumbai every Tuesday while on its return it will leave Samastipur every Thursday. Likewise Raxaul – Lokmanya Tilak Mumbai special will run from March 10 to 31 leaving Raxaul every Tuesday at 7.15 pm and reach Mumbai third day at 5.50 am , CPRO said adding Saharsa – Lokmanya Tilak Mumbai special, Sriganganagar – Samastipur special, Ahmedabad – Darbhanga special and Ahmedabad- Patna special are other special trains which will be into operations to clear the festive rush.
