RaeBareli : Special legal literacy and awareness programs concluded on the subject of sexual harassment of women

Under the direction of Uttar Pradesh State Legal Services Authority, Lucknow and Hon’ble Chairman, District Legal Services Authority/District Judge, Rae Bareli Rajkumar Singh, the District Legal Services Authority, Rae Bareli organized a legal literacy and awareness camp on the sexual harassment of women on the subject of women on the subject of women’s interest for the interests of women. The MCA, BCA and BSC students of the institute also expressed their views under the said Act. Especially female students were also presented in their statements in their statements.

 

Addressing the program, panel advocate Shailaja Singh, women present, the women present were made aware about the incidents of sexual harassment at the workplace. The panel advocate provided detailed information about sexual harassment, prevention, prohibition and prevention of women at the workplace. Apart from this, information was given regarding women’s help line number 181 and centers run for women.

Anupam Shaurya, who is presiding over the program, was told by Additional District Judge/Secretary District Legal Services Authority, Rae Bareli that life is a discipline without discipline. The Supreme Court provided information to the attendees regarding the Visakha guidelines issued in a historic decision in Visakha and other vs Rajasthan State 1997 case. It was also reported that after becoming aware of social consciousness after about 15 years, sexual harassment of women was passed by the law experts at the workplace, the Adhikar 2013 Parliament. Which came into force after being released on 09 December 2013 as a notification.

On this occasion, detailed information on the legal right of women was provided. It was informed by the Secretary District Legal Services Authority that gender harassment (prevention, prohibition and repatriation Act 2013 has been enacted at the workplace to provide protection to women and protect their rights at the workplace. The POSH Act defines sexual harassment in which physical contacts and sexual proposals, demand or request for sexual grace, shown and any other Unwanted physical, oral or unwanted tasks such as non-verbal behavior. Considering the work sector, the taxi, conference/workshops used for office work, which are commonly away from the main office, have also been considered as a workplace and the house where domestic servants do the work. On not complying with the provisions and the provisions of paying a fine of Rs 50,000 for not being constituted by institutions by institutions were also apprised.

Under the said Act, investigation and its appeal was made aware of the deadline. Dr. Manish Saxena, Director, Feroz Gandhi Engineering College, Rae Bareli highlighted the subject of code of conduct at the workplace. The quiz session was organized after the program. Vinod double directors and divine volunteers Poonam Singh, Soumya Mishra, Manoj Kumar Prajapati and Pawan Kumar Srivastava were present in the said program.
