Raebareli News ! Honorable Member, Uttar Pradesh State Women Commission Poonam Dwivedi inspected Sakhi One Stop Center located in Rae Bareli. During this, he took detailed information about the facilities, structure, counseling system available at the center and the services being provided to the victimized women.
During the inspection, District Probation Officer Jaipal Verma and Center Manager Aastha Jyoti, Counselor Shraddha Singh gave information about the functioning of the center and the work done so far. He said that in Sakhi One Stop Centre, all the services like shelter, medical aid, counselling, legal consultation and police assistance are provided to the victimized women free of cost under one roof.
The Honorable Member said that One Stop Center is a powerful platform for women, which works to provide security, support and justice in times of crisis. He instructed the team of the center to work more actively towards the rehabilitation and empowerment of the victimized women.
During the inspection, he also established communication with the women living in the center and took information about their problems and needs. She said that the Women’s Commission is always committed to protecting the safety, dignity and rights of women.
On this occasion, District Program Officer Vinay Singh, Mahila Police Station SO Kiran Bhaskar, center employee Shefali Singh and related staff were present.
