Raebareli News . During the Ganges bath, a young man resident of Pratapgarh died due to drowning in deep water. The accident took place on Saturday morning at Gokna Ghat in Rae Bareli, when he went to bathe with his wife.
According to the information, 30 -year -old Karan Saroj came to his in -laws’ house in Unchahar on Friday. The next day he went to Gokna Ghat with his wife to bathe in Ganga. During the bath, Karan went into the middle stream of the river and started drowning in deep water.
Karan’s wife sought help by making noise, after which the local divers reached the spot and took out the young man.
Seeing the condition serious, the family first took him to CHC, where after primary treatment he was referred to NTPC Hospital. The doctors there declared Karan dead.
