Raebareli News : District Magistrate Harshita Mathur held a meeting of the District Road Safety Committee in the Collectorate Auditorium at Bacha Bhavan. In the meeting, the DM directed to remove encroachments at all intersections including Mama Chaurah and Civil Line intersection from Banyan intersection. The District Magistrate, taking information about the under construction works of NHI, directed that the work should be completed before the rains. He said that in addition to the main roads, the service road should also be repaired. Discussed regarding the work of road construction in Lalganj and Dalmau.
He also inquired about the necessary action taken regarding the construction of the proposed police post at Mama intersection. The District Magistrate directed that the overloading vehicles be checked from time to time. Action should be taken in the hit and run case as per rules and compensation should be provided to the affected soon.
Black spots should be identified and repaired, traffic and speed limit indictive signs should be installed. The standard should be taken care of while constructing speed breakers. So that any type of accident can be avoided.
