Raebareli News : Under the instructions of District Magistrate Harshita Mathur, under his Rae Bareli delightful Rae Bareli campaign, the cleanliness fortnight was first organized from 17 March 2025 to March 31, 2025. In which a team of cleaning workers was conducted in a large 300 gram panchayats of the district and a campaign of large cleanliness was conducted.
As a result of this campaign, the district Rae Bareli topped the district of Rae Bareli in the quality of special communicable diseases and Dastak Abhiyan running from April 01, 2025 to April 30, 2025.
The District Magistrate will run a campaign to free the rural and urban areas of Rae Bareli district in the next phase of his Rae Bareli delightful Rae Bareli campaign. This campaign is to start from June 05, 2025 World Environment Day and run till the month of June.
District Panchayat Raj Officer Soumyasheel Singh has informed that under the Swachh Bharat Mission Rural 2.0, work has been done for solid and liquid waste management in all 980 gram panchayats of Rae Bareli district. Under this, garbage, garbage donation, nadep, compost pit, vermi compost, plastic bank and RRC have been constructed in gram panchayats for solid waste management. The daily solid waste produced in the gram panchayats is brought through the garbage car, where solid waste is separated separately. The gram panchayat will have income by selling this waste.
Plastic collected in RRC is sent to plastic waste management units (chods) and that plastic is converted into a commercial grade and sold by the Gram Panchayat, which makes the Gram Panchayat income. Under 2.0, 02 Plastic Waste Management Unit (Chodn) has been constructed at the rate of Rs 16.00 lakh per unit in Govindpur Govindpur of Shivgarh and Gram Panchayat Mon of Development Block Maharajganj under the last 2.0.
