Under the instructions of District Magistrate Harshita Mathur and guidance of Chief Development Officer Arpit Upadhyay, under the Communicable Disease Control Campaign, a massive cleanliness campaign is being run in all 980 gram panchayats of the district from October 5 to 31, 2025. In which the work of bush cutting, drain cleaning, marking of shallow hand pumps, spraying of antilarvae and medicine and fogging etc. is being done through cleaning staff by arranging rosters.
District Panchayat Raj Officer Soumya Sheel Singh said that in 2 days, cleanliness work was done by 1591 sanitation workers in 158 Gram Panchayats of the district, along with the garbage coming out of the Gram Panchayat during cleanliness was collected and disposed of through e-rickshaws and the villagers were being made aware of cleanliness. District Panchayat Raj Officer has said that the work of the employees deployed as per the roster for cleanliness is also being inspected on random basis and Assistant Development Officer (P) of other development blocks has been nominated for cross verification.
By whom daily on-site inspection is being done and the work done and presence of nominated employees is being monitored. In which disciplinary action will be taken if any employee is absent from the workplace. As a result, the work of bush cutting, drain cleaning, spraying of antilarva and medicine and fogging etc. is being done in the Gram Panchayat by the employees being present and with team spirit.
