Hira Lal flagged off the van in Ramipurkala (Hasnapur), Block Sareni, District Rae Bareli along with villagers, village heads and public representatives.
Chief Executive Officer Dr. Heera Lal worshiped the pond being renovated and planted a tree on the banks of the pond. The officers/employees present on the spot gave a message that there is no bravery in planting trees, there is bravery in keeping the tree alive.
In the watershed journey, school children took out Prabhatferi in the morning and took the message of saving water, forest, land from house to house. Along with this, the Kalash Yatra was taken out by women and other rural women of the motorcycle rally and self -help groups to make the purpose of watershed journey successful.
In Krishak Vidya Mandir Vidyalaya, a street play based on water conservation was performed by school children and villagers, appealing to all the people present to understand the importance of water and do not let any drop of water go in vain. Vinay Verma was distributed to solar light trap, pheromone trap and blue chip-chippy straps developed by Assistant Director, Soil Testing, Agriculture Department, Rae Bareli. The students, who topped the essay competition based on soil and water conservation, were rewarded by Dr. Heera Lal and administered the oath of water conservation to all the people.
Chief Executive Officer Dr. Heera Lal, while emphasizing all the people present in the school, stressed the main ingredients of the earth, water forest land and said that we have two mothers. The second mother is the earth, which is made of water, forest and land. All the people should protect the earth, protect and get pure air, pure water and pure food and make their life prosperous and happy.
