Deputy Commissioner Industry, Paramahansa Maurya has said that under the state government’s ambitious Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana, traditional artisans of urban and rural areas of the district such as 200, carpentry 75, tailor 450, barber 50, blacksmiths 25, mentor 25, etc. have been allotted a total target for financial year 2025-26 on the basis of enterprise, in which a total of 850 has been allotted to the work of 850s on the basis of an enterprise, in which the work related to the trades has been allotted to the work of 850. Training and works will be provided upgraded type of toolkit based on the latest technology for successful operation. The training program is completely free.
He has informed the traditional artisans of Rae Bareli district that eligible artisans and handicrafts departments wishing to receive training in the above trades can apply on the departmental website http://duppmsme.upsdc.gov.in and http://msme.gov.in.
The Deputy Commissioner Industry said that the conditions of eligibility of the scheme have been told that the candidate should have a mobile number linked to Aadhaar card and Aadhaar. A copy of the bank pass book and the passport size photo of the applicant etc. The applicant should be a resident of the district. The minimum age of the applicant should be 18 years or more. Age will be calculated from the date of application. The applicant should be connected to the trades or handicapped businesses like tailor tailor barber, blacksmith, mason etc. No educational qualification is necessary for getting benefits under the scheme. Only one member of the family will be eligible for application under the scheme. Caste will not be the only basis for eligibility under the scheme. To get benefits in the scheme, such people will also be eligible who are different from the traditional workmanship caste. It will be mandatory for such applicants to submit a certificate issued by the member of the village head, chairman Nagar Panchayat, or the Municipality/Municipal Corporation ward as evidence of being associated with traditional workmanship. The affidavit to this effect that earlier a training scheme has not been taken advantage of toolkit and honorarium.
