Ahmedabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold ‘Pariksha pe Charcha’ with students, parents and teachers ahead of the board exam season. The programme is scheduled to begin at 10am on Friday and is expected to reach more than 45 million participants across India, according to officials.The event, now in its ninth edition, is designed as a direct interaction between the Prime Minister and students, focusing on exam preparation, stress management and related concerns. Officials said the session is conducted annually before the boards, with students submitting questions and participating through schools and online platforms.
The event will be broadcast live across multiple channels and digital services. Viewers can watch the session on YouTube, Facebook Live, Doordarshan, and PM e-Vidya TV. The programme will also be available on radio networks and via EDUSAT. It will also be streamed on OTT platforms.To ensure maximum participation in Gujarat, the state education board and the directorate of primary education have issued instructions to district-level officers to make viewing arrangements in schools. Schools have been asked to facilitate participation for students from Classes 6 to 12, along with teachers and parents, using devices with internet access.Officials also instructed schools to upload photographs of participation on the MyGov portal, with submissions due by 5pm.As the programme begins at 10am, orders have been issued to adjust timings for primary, secondary, and higher secondary schools across the state. The district education officer in Ahmedabad city has also circulated a letter directing schools to adhere to the revised schedule.
