PM Kusum Scheme – Pradhan Mantri Kusum Yojana has been constructed to increase income and reduce expenses. Under the Pradhan Mantri Kusum Yojana, the government will put solar pumps in their fields to farmers. The scheme is divided into three components. In the first component ‘A’, farmers whose land is barren or unusable, they can also earn electricity by selling electricity to power companies by planting solar plants. This will also make their land useful. In this, solar power plants are installed from 5000 fortywatt to 2 MW.
In the second component ‘B’, the farmer will have to spend only 10 percent of the total cost to install solar pumps. According to the cost, 60 percent of the government will be given a loan of 30 percent and 30 percent. Solar pumps will be used for 25 years. In the third component ‘S’, the farmers who have electric pumps installed in the fields can also make them solarized. There are many villages where electricity is not available for 24 hours, then those farmers will be able to use 24 hours of electricity by installing salaries in their fields. There will be no shortage of water in the fields. Farmers who use pump diesel in the fields will save diesel expenses.
