KUALA LUMPUR: Pentas Flora, Malaysia’s leading re-refined base oil (RRBO) producer and scheduled waste management specialist, has announced its introduction of its high-quality, sustainable RRBO to the Japanese market.
Pentas Flora is a comprehensive waste management company based in Malaysia. As one of the region’s largest re-refiners, it specialises in the recovery and re-refining of used engine oils into premium RRBO and eco-fuel oils.
According to a statement issued by Pentas Flora, Japan is globally recognised for its stringent quality standards and commitment to “Monozukuri” (the art of manufacturing).
By introducing its Group II+ and Group III RRBO, Pentas Flora is meeting the growing demand for sustainable raw materials that match the performance of virgin base oils.
“This expansion is more than a business growth milestone; it represents a “Cradle-to-Cradle” philosophy. By converting used motor oil into high-grade base oil, Pentas Flora is helping Japanese partners reduce their Scope 3 emissions and transition towards a truly circular industrial model”, said Lim Aik Fu, managing director of Pentas Flora Group.
