Park St school celebrates 50 yrs

Kolkata: Apeejay School, Park Street organised a five-day Golden Jubilee programme recently. ‘Luminara,’ a vibrant carnival, was inaugurated by chairman Karan Paul, along with Sumit Dasgupta, trustee, Apeejay Schools, and Darryl Bloud, CEO, Apeejay Group of Schools on first day.

It featured music, dance, and alumni performances, besides game zones and food stalls for families and guests. Inaugural Apeejay Premier League was held at Orchid Arena, involving students, teachers, and alumni from Apeejay’s Kolkata branches and Cricket Association of Bengal umpires. Former and current principals, Neville McNamara and Paromita Guha Ray, met students and alumni. Terra Nova, the technology fest, was graced by Priya Paul, chairperson, Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels. Young minds from Apeejay Schools in Salt Lake, Haldia, and Bhubaneswar attended the event. Folria Fest, an inter-school event of debate, quiz, art, dance, drama, fashion, photography, and chess was held on school campus and Gyan Manch.
