Family Benefit List 2024 : The National Family Benefit Scheme  of the Government of India provides financial assistance of up to Rs 30,000 for the difficult times of such families of UP in which the main earning person dies untimely due to any reason  . If you have applied in this scheme and still do not know when the family benefit money will come and  check the status of the National Family Benefit Application  , then you can check its information by the method mentioned in this post – 

Family benefit scheme check status –

Follow these steps to check the amount of Family Benefit Scheme –

  • Step 1 –  Open  the official website of the scheme  nfbs.upsdc.gov.in in the browser
  • Step 2 –  On the home page itself, you will  have to open the link “ Application Status  (Click here to know the status of the application form)” 
  • Step 3 –  Now the registered applicant login page will open in front of you in which you have to enter the applicant’s registration number, registered mobile number and captcha and  click on the send OTP  button.
  • Step 4 –  Now enter the OTP number received on your mobile and press the login button
  • Step 5 –  In the next page, you will get the option to select the district and either the account number or registration number, fill it
  • Step 6 –  And lastly   click on Search Status button

After completing this process, the information about the current status of the applicant’s application and if the payment has been released, its details will start appearing on your screen.  In this, if the application is correct, it will be shown as Approved and if it is still in process, it will be shown as Pending. 

Family Benefit List List 2024

On the online portal of this scheme, you can see the details of the beneficiaries who receive financial assistance every year. Its process is as follows –

  1. Open this link of the scheme in your internet browser –  https://nfbs.upsdc.gov.in/
  2. Now a page will open in front of you in which you have to click on the financial year and the name of your district
  3. After this, you have to click on the name of your tehsil
  4. After that, on the next page, click on the name of your block or town.
  5. You have to click on the name of your Panchayat in the next page
  6. Then you will get to see the name of the beneficiary of the Family Benefit Scheme under that Panchayat and the information about the amount received.

Beneficiaries should keep this information with them and things to keep in mind –

After filling the Family Benefit Application form, keep the Registration Number or Registration Number received safely for checking the details or status online.

In this scheme, the government sends the assistance amount to the Aadhaar seeded bank account of the applicant. Therefore, before filling the application, make sure to get the bank account linked to Aadhaar ( Aadhaar Seeding ).

  • Identity Proof

  • Age/Birth Certificate 
  • Family details / Ration card
  • Bank Account Aadhaar Seeded 
  • Passport size photo

How to apply for National Family Benefit Scheme?

You can apply for the scheme in two ways – online and offline. See the details in the steps given below –

Online Application:

  1.  Visit the official website of National Family Benefit Scheme,  nfbs.upsdc.gov.in .
  2. Click on “New Registration” option.
  3. Enter the required information and register.
  4. Login and fill the application form.
  5. Upload scanned copies of required documents and submit.
  6. There is a fee of ₹50 for online application.

Offline Application:

  1. Visit your nearest Community Service Centre (CSC) or Social Welfare Department office.
  2. Get the application form and fill it out.
  3. Submit by attaching copies of required documents.

Eligibility and conditions of National Family Benefit Scheme of Uttar Pradesh Government –

  • To avail the scheme, the head of the family (male or female) who has died should be above 18 years of age and below 60 years of age.
  • The deceased should be a native of Uttar Pradesh.
  • The annual income of the family should not exceed ₹46,080 in rural areas and ₹56,460 in urban areas.
  • It is mandatory to be a BPL card holder or from a BPL family.
