Kolkata: Based on a complaint filed by the Child Development Project Officer of Barasat Block II, three persons have been arrested on charges of selling a baby girl. The father, Robin Paswan (23), his wife Toton Sarkar (23) claimed they did it due to poverty. Sonali Saha alias Jasmina Bibi (33), allegedly acted as an intermediary. tnn
