Panaji: A day after TOI reported the debris accumulation at La Marvel Colony in Dona Paula, Panaji Mayor Rohit Monserrate on Friday assured that it would be cleared at the earliest.“The corporation will only be clearing the debris illegally dumped in the area,” he told TOI.
TOI reported on Feb 6 that the La Marvel Residents Welfare Association , Dona Paula, accused the civic authorities of prolonged inaction and bias over alleged encroachments and dumping of construction and demolition waste on a privately owned open space in Dona Paula.In a letter addressed to the CCP, the association demanded action in the matter.
