Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) chief Mahesh Kumar Goud has announced that the process of filling nominated posts is set to be completed by March 15.Speaking to the media in Delhi on Thursday, he said Congress brass engaged in discussions with all Telangana ministers, focusing on strengthening the party organisation and evaluating the various welfare schemes currently in place. Goud highlighted that Rahul Gandhi extended his congratulations on the impressive outcomes of both the by-elections and local body elections, emphasising that the people’s endorsement stemmed from the welfare initiatives they enjoyed.According to Goud, an estimated 80% of the state’s residents supported Congress, reflecting a strong connection between the party and the electorate. During the meeting, Rahul Gandhi posed insightful questions regarding the policies related to integrated schools, signalling a commitment to educational reform.Goud reiterated the timeline for filling the nominated posts, underscoring the urgency and importance of this task. Additionally, the discussions touched on the ramifications surrounding K Rajagopal Reddy, with Goud assuring that a dialogue with him would take place soon, aiming to clarify any uncertainties and foster unity within the party.BoxMinister Ponnam Prabhakar stated that baseless allegations were being made against the Congress govt unnecessarily. Speaking to the media in Delhi, he emphasised that, if necessary, they would return to Delhi multiple times in the interest of the people. “We are governing the state in a manner that respects the dignity of the people of Telangana. We are not involved in farmhouse politics,” he added.
