As per the MoU, AISATS will construct a state-of-the-art cargo campus within the Jewar Airport premises. The facility is planned to become a major hub for not just UP but all of North India for air freight and logistics. With Noida Airport being developed with multi-modal connectivity, it will become easier to pitch the new facility as a strategic hub for international trade, which will accelerate export and import activities and benefit sectors such as electronics, pharmaceuticals, and agricultural products.Under the second MoU, a state-of-the-art, world-class air catering kitchen is proposed to be established at the airport. This kitchen will provide high-quality meals for flights operating from Noida International Airport and also be supplied to other nearby airports in North India. “This initiative will strengthen the food processing and supply chain network in the region and generate thousands of direct and indirect employment opportunities,” an official said.
