Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao said the industrial policy TS-iPASS, introduced by the previous BRS govt, was praised as the best in the country in the latest report by NITI Aayog. In a statement, KTR said the role of TS-iPASS in turning Telangana into an industrial beacon for the nation within a decade was crucial. He said the central agency’s recognition of the policy as a model for all at the national level was a testament to KCR’s visionary leadership.Attracting investments worth Rs 2.6 lakh crore in the MSME sector, alongside major industries, and providing dignified employment opportunities to over 25 lakh youth marked a golden chapter in the country’s history, he said, and added that the BRS govt had the distinction of removing countless obstacles to industrial establishment and providing all permissions through a single window.“Not only did they design an extremely transparent policy that left no room for corruption by providing all permissions within 15 to 30 days, but its sincere implementation over a decade led to these prestigious results and national recognition,” KTR said. The revolutionary policy, which instilled immense confidence among investors ranging from global giants to small and medium enterprises, continued to resonate with prestige in all directions even after 10 years, he said. In the past, innovative initiatives such as Rythu Bandhu, Mission Bhagiratha, Mission Kakatiya, and T-Hub, implemented by KCR, were pioneering in India’s history. Now, with NITI Aayog declaring the Telangana model as practical for industrial progress, it would be wise for disruptive forces living under the illusion of erasing KCR’s legacy to reconsider, he added.
